A Call to Action: How Forum Posts Can Save ToyBeast
This morning, as I reviewed the site’s analytics, I encountered a tough reality: most of our subscribers primarily use the checklist feature, with the GI Joe Classified checklist being the top draw. While I’m thrilled that the checklist is such a hit, the site’s sustainability hinges on broader engagement. Without more interactions on our forum or visits to our articles, the site is at risk of not surviving past October.
The personalized checklist is a free service we proudly offer, and I’m committed to keeping it that way. I want to continue enhancing and updating it, striving to make it the ultimate resource for collectors. However, to keep the site afloat, we need a change. I’m considering a model where users need to contribute to the forum to access the checklist. It’s not my first choice, but it might be necessary for the site’s survival.
I genuinely appreciate every one of you who has joined our community. I just need to reach a point where the site can at least break even, making it viable for me to maintain and grow it. For those of you using ad blockers, please consider supporting us through Patreon.
On a positive note, we had 70 visitors yesterday. If just 5 of those visitors had posted on the forum, it would have significantly boosted our community engagement. Your participation is crucial for us to thrive. Thank you all for your support and understanding.
