Current issues and fixes

Just a quick update. It appears that new users aren’t being given the designation of Subscriber when they first register on the site. This doesn’t effect anything beyond designation but it is something I am looking at this week. I will check the reputation system as well, making sure that is working as expected.

Another slight bug, when creating posts, the formatting is not being saved. I am hoping this is just a setting I may have missed with tinymce and should be an easy fix.

On mobile, some users are not realizing the tool bar is scrollable and missing the image upload button. As a bandaid solution I will move the image upload button to be the first item in the tool section rather than last.

Next are features I’ll be working on, first, a pagination for the forum. This ones on me. I had totally forgot to do this for both the post load and comment load. This update shouldn’t be overly difficult. And it is currently on my radar.

I’ll be working on the ability to edit your posts. I’ve had a couple comments asking for the ability to edit your posts. This one will take a little more work as the complexity of pulling in, editing and saving a post isn’t as straight forward as it may sound. Bit I’ll get it done.

Lastly, the new checklist feature is almost ready for a beta release. I am hoping to get this out in time for the official launch of our first forum contest on March 1st.

Finally, I would like to thank all the Reddit users from the G.I. Joe Classified Series sub and the Star Wars Black Series sub that have supplied me with invaluable information this past week. Collectors like these are the reason I put forth the effort. Thanks again guys!
