New Hasbro Star Wars The Black Series Reveals

Hasbro Star Wars Legends and Gaming Greats revealed.

The MCM London Comic-Con is one of the largest Comic Conventions outside of Fan Expo and San Diego Comic-Con. And so it was not a surprise that Hasbro came to impress. The reveal included 5 Black Series figures.

SCAR TROOPER MIC

If you’ve kept up with Marvel’s line of Star Wars Comics, you will know who Mic is. He is an elite trooper, part of the Special Commando Advanced Recon team called Scar Squadron. If you picked up Sergeant Kreel earlier this year, you are probably fully aware of this team. Also known as Task Force 99.

This bodes well as it looks like Hasbro will be giving us the entire squad!

MARA JADE

We have been waiting for a proper Black Series Mara Jade. And I think Hasbro has finally delivered!

For Legends fans, Mara Jade needs no introduction, But if you’ve never heard of her, She was once Emporer Palpatine’s Hand.

A highly trained assassin and Luke’s deadliest enemy. Palpatine’s final command before his passing was for Mara to kill Luke Skywalker! Instead, Mara went rogue and joined Talon Karrde becoming one of his best smugglers.

As time went on, she began a relationship with Luke which eventually led to their marriage. Will this be canon in the New Disney Star Wars? Only time will tell.

DOCTOR APHRA

Another one of the recent additions to the Star Wars universe, Chelli Lona Aphra was a human female archaeologist recruited by Darth Vader after the Battle of Yavin.

She has expert knowledge of droid and weapons technologies with a particular interest in ancient weapons and Jedi artifacts. Known as one of the galaxy’s most daring treasure hunters. She walks a fine line to get what she wants, including working for either side of the galactic struggle.

BASTILA SHAN

Bastila Shan is a character from the Old Republic Era. She was a legendary Jedi Master who fought in the Jedi Civil War.

For those of you who recognize her, she first appeared in Knights of the Old Republic. She has become a fan favorite over the years. With a cameo appearance in Knights of the Old Republic II.

DARTH MALAK

Another Old Republic figure, Darth Malak reigned as a Dark Lord of the Sith during the Jedi Civil War.

Like most sith, he began as a Jedi Knight. A prominent commander of the Republic Military. He led the republic to victory during the Mandalorian Wars.

Shortly after, Revan and himself were corrupted by the Sith Emperor. Becoming Sith Lords. With help from Sith Revan, they established their own Sith Empire. Malak would soon take over and usurp power in his quest for galactic dominance.
