Rewind to ’92: Batman, The Animated Series Brilliance

Ah, let’s journey back to the days of dial-up and slap bracelets! In 1992, Fox Kids unveiled what would become an iconic gem in the realm of animation: “Batman: The Animated Series.” This wasn’t your run-of-the-mill Saturday morning cartoon. No, it brought a unique blend of striking visuals, deep shadows (both literally and metaphorically), and voice talents so on point you’d think they were trained at the Gotham Academy. Not just resting on its artistic laurels, this show grabbed a few Emmy’s like they were fresh Bat-a-rangs!

Cinematic Adventures

But wait, there’s more! Amidst its rich tapestry of episodes, the series introduced us to the ever-quirky and slightly unhinged Harley Quinn. What’s that? You already knew that and have a matching Joker tattoo? Well, did you know about its cinematic offshoots? That’s right! This series not only made its mark on TV but in film as well. One of the standout titles? “Batman: Mask of the Phantasm.” Originally slated for a cozy direct-to-video release, it pulled a Bruce Wayne move, donning a cinematic cape last minute and swooping into theaters. And now? It’s celebrating its 30th anniversary! Here’s to the memories, caped crusaders!

Mondo’s Tribute: A Collector’s Dream

In honor of the 30th anniversary of “BATMAN: MASK OF THE PHANTASM”, Mondo is introducing the BATMAN: MASK OF THE PHANTASM – 1/6 Scale Timed Edition figure. And believe me, this figure isn’t just big, it’s Gotham-City-at-night-big! It’s so meticulously detailed, you’d think it made a daring leap straight from your TV screen.

Reliving the Phantasm Legend

Recall the thrills of 1993’s cult classic movie, which came hot on the heels of B:TAS Season 1’s roaring success. Who could forget our enigmatic anti-hero, Andrea Beaumont, otherwise known as the ominous Phantasm. The silhouette that haunted our favorite caped crusader is now available for your very own bat-display. And, because they believe in treating every Batman fan like Bruce Wayne-level VIPs, they’re presenting not one, but two shiny options: the deluxe Timed Edition (packed with exclusives) and the trusty Regular Edition.

Time’s Ticking, Bat-fans!

But, Bat-fans, time’s ticking! The Timed Edition is as elusive as Batman himself, available from Tuesday, September 19, 12 PM CT, and disappearing (perhaps into the shadows of Gotham) by Monday, September 25, 11:59 AM CT. It’s a MondoShop.com exclusive, so no need to scour the depths of the Batcave!

Unboxing the Bat-Box: Collector’s Loot

What’s in the Bat-box, you ask? Timed Edition brings: • An uncannily detailed Phantasm Figure • Dual swappable hoods (because variety is the spice of Bat-life) • Exclusive swappable Andrea torso (for when she’s not in “phantom mode”) • Attack and Acid Attack blades (not for the faint-hearted) • Various swappable hands for every vigilante mood • An ethereal smoke base stand attachment, perfect for those mysterious exits • And of course, a Bat Symbol stand, because branding is everything.

Final Bat-Signal

Holy collector’s dream, Batman! If you’re a true Bat-freak, you won’t want to miss this.
